Hi Hurriya, love this insightful article and the quote above. I always talk about this topic because I’m responsible to run a training program for new academics (faculty) at my university. I will share this article with them as homework :)

To me, working smart is about leveraging (the keyword is leverage) the resources and the system but not to the extent of manipulating it. In my case, for example, my research team is doing a good job because I leverage on having good PhD students, post-doc, etc.
